Wow again it has been too long since I have posted. Not intentionally, mind you, but life has a way of rushing in with a strong current and I know, after 29 years, its best to not fight it and just let it take you where it wants you to go.
We will see Rich for a visit in 2 short months. He will stay for two weeks and then head back to S. Korea. *sigh*. I feel like I am racing in a marathon, can barely see the finish line but my legs just don't want to keep moving. This has been the hardest year so far. I feel like I have learned a lot about myself but at the same time I am just so darn tired. And now the military has decided that if we should keep our orders to WA, Rich will be deployed very shortly after arrival. Another year apart just won't work for us, so right now we are looking at alternatives.
Anyway.
Matthew started soccer this past week! He is such a natural already! Practices are mid-week with games on the weekend so it should keep us going at our normal, fast-pace life. Daddy should be able to see at least two games while he is home!
I am still running and working out. Tossing around the idea of a trainer because working out alone is getting to me. I still love doing it but when you have someone pushing who is standing right in front of you, it's a different story. I still love my DVD's but when you get to the point that you are reciting the instructions verbatem you know its time to change it up.
I am currently in a photography class that has taken a back-burner spot in my week. *cringe*. I have wanted this for so long but then it came at a point where my life was just INSANE and I do not get to put the attention into it that it deserves. We have a "free" week coming up so hopefully I can play catch up during that time.
I have started creating jewelry and I LOVE it! I just love being creative. I give myself a hard time about spending too much time being creative and not enough time being productive, but I seem to be a lot happier when I am being creatively productive.
I need to start doing more scrapbooking too but GRRR, again with the time dilema.
Here are a few new pieces that I can finally share:
This is a layout of my husband (who I miss so much). I used a few of the verses from Michael Buble's song, "Everything".
A funny layout of my little guy using pictures from last year's Halloween. I love his little smile and I can't wait to walk him around again this year!
Lisa requested that I create something with this month's digi-kit at ScrapStreet. I have a hard time staying completely digital so I incorporated my hybrid skills to make this cute little card.
Well that's about it from me right now. Matthew needs a bath and I just need a mental break.
Have a great week!
